When an enemy attacks AN ADJACENT ALLY, attack that enemy for 250% Damage+ on Crit, reduce Speed Bar by 25%.

Note: His Counterattacks in his Passive is 250%, which is higher than his regular counter and assist (199%+17% piercing) but lower than his Basic (330%)


 

Conclusion:

He doesn't have any Synergy with any particular tag, so can be teamed up with any toon.

Synergies with his Allies: Passive Ability:  NICK FURY and S.H.I.E.L.D. MINION allies gain +50% Crit chance . On War Defense, COULSON gains +50% extra Crit chance . Note: All Shield minions and Fury's Crit chance is low except for Coulson, which is pretty high. Crit: Crit refers to Critical Attack. Critical attack deals higher damage. Crit chance increases your odds of dealing critical hits, and crit damage increases the efficiency of those critical hits.   Conclusion: If you don't use him in Kestrel's Shield team where is Coulson deployed to, then your best alternative is teaming him up with the other leftover Shield toons (Trooper and Operative).
